How to Sand Walls

How to sand walls is important because it possible that you might not be doing a good job or you might not be doing it quick enough losing your interest halfway through. Sometimes the reason you sand walls is not so much to make the walls smooth, when you sand walls the primary reason is to remove any roller Lint or dried on dust. You can only do so much wall repair by sanding, if you & you will end up right through the drywall ruining the drywall finish the drywall damage.
When you’re sanding drywall repairs it is important to use a flat pad sanding pole, the sanding pole pad will eliminate sanding unevenly on the wall either by leaving a bump on the wall or a depression from over Sanding.
It is smart to use a good sandable drywall compound that dries relatively quickly in 45 min. to 90 min.
When sanding these patches I usually use 100 grit or 120 grit sandpaper and sand till you can see faintly the underlying wall plaster is covering. On closer inspection make sure that you do not need a slight ridge of plaster over the drywall were blended into the original drywall.
