Interior house painting sometimes requires drywall repairs and patches. On this particular project the owner has decided to insulate the walls. These walls were plaster walls not drywall. The way plaster walls are made up in your home if you have a brick home is of course the brick and then board lathing and cement And over the top of the that is plaster.
What was done here is a hole the size of a quarter was drilled right through the whole thing and then foam insulation sprayed into the cavity. As you can see from the pictures there are many holes in the wall.
This is quite uncommon to have so much extensive hole repairs throughout the home.
Most houses generally have cracks around windows frames and in corners were the walls meet or at the ceiling where the ceiling drywall meet. And many times their tiny holes from hanging pictures which we quickly go around with some sheet rock 90 to fill them.
